So why introduce accredited, college-level materials?
One word… Intuit!
Like instructors around the world, we have worked through the transition of Intuit’s QuickBooks™ platform to the online, cloud-based environment of QBO. However, unlike traditional textbooks (which are usually sent to the publisher 4 to 6 months before they go into service for fall semesters), our online video courses have the flexibility to be updated on-the-fly as needed at any point during the semester, regardless of how many changes surface. Something changes? We update the video lesson BEFORE the student gets to it.
Our founder, Ron Trucks who has spent almost 20 years teaching college-level business courses with 30+ years of QB experience, spent an entire school year playing whack-a-mole working with textbook authors to try and keep up with the never ending changes Intuit was making. In the middle of all that, he realized that the video-based learning which has been so successful for continuing education learners through bsnsAtlas could be expanded and used as the core source materials for the full range of student levels. And BA Collegiate was born.
